A good, modern water park. You need to arrive at opening time to get a couple of hours of good fun. After 12, the queues will be very long. Be sure to pick up free water shoes at Guest Services. They are comfortable for walking and riding. I recommend wearing a rash guard to avoid rubbing your back on the slides and getting sunburned. Drinks start at 25 dh. Ice cream starts at 28 dh.

Very crowded. Huge area. This is a big plus and a minus — you can get lost. Our child ended up getting lost. Our vacation turned into a search for our child, who was eventually found in tears. There were a huge number of people in the changing room. It is necessary to arrive a little later than opening time and leave much earlier than closing time. An ideal place for Atlantis guests.

Our whole family loves this water park. We stayed at Atlantis and spent a lot of time there. Of course, it's more comfortable on weekdays than on weekends or holidays due to the number of visitors, and it's better to start with the far tower in the morning and go with the flow, as this will save you a lot of time in queues. They give out aqua socks, but we had our own swimming shoes, which we had to take off on some slides because of the rubber soles so as not to accidentally slow down on the plastic surface.

A very impressive water park. There are many exciting slides for both individual and group rides on tubes. You can grab a bite to eat, relax, and float on a tube down the lazy river, or just swim and sunbathe between rides on the slides or by the pools or the sea. It's a great place to spend the whole day with your family.

Overview
Dubai is famous not only for its stylish architecture, five-star hotels, and expensive restaurants, but also for its various water attractions. It is no exaggeration to say that some of the best water parks in the world await you in the UAE. All of them are created on a grand scale and will impress not only children but also adults. There is something for everyone: extreme sports enthusiasts and those who prefer a more leisurely pace. Many parks have unique slides that cannot be found anywhere else. The facilities are designed for family vacations and include attractions for adults as well as children’s areas with safe entertainment. Ticket prices depend on the location chosen and average 250-270 dirhams for adults and 150-190 dirhams for children.
Laguna Waterpark
This is the newest water park in Dubai, opened in 2018 and the first of its kind not attached to a hotel. It is part of the La Mer open beach and is designed to resemble the famous La Boca neighborhood in Buenos Aires. Hence the combination of bright colors, old boats, and decor featuring anchors and fishing nets. The park has everything you need for a great vacation: extreme attractions, children’s complexes, a surfing area, and a relaxation zone. At the same time, the place is appealing for its affordable prices — it is the most budget-friendly option in the ranking, and you can buy a ticket for only 120-145 dirhams. However, visitors warn that the water park is small and there is not much space for adults to enjoy themselves. On the other hand, the children’s areas are fantastic, so if you have children aged 5-6, they will definitely be thrilled.
Legoland Waterpark
Legoland Waterpark is a themed water park designed in the style of LEGO. It includes 20 attractions and is designed for children aged 2 to 12. There are no fast or twisty slides, and all attractions are adapted for young visitors, with lifeguards carefully monitoring safety. At the same time, no one will be bored: there are areas with fountains and entertainers for toddlers, and an interactive playground called Joker Soaker for older children. Even adults will find something to do — for example, you can build your own boat and test its buoyancy. Unlike large water parks, there are no huge queues here, and you won’t have to wait 30-40 minutes to slide down the slides. However, children are allowed on the attractions depending on their height, so check the water park rules in advance to know where you will be allowed.
AquaFun
An unusual water park located right on the water. It is an inflatable logo of the city and includes 72 extreme attractions in the form of slides, ladders, trampolines, and more. AquaFun is the largest inflatable water park in the world, and that’s not just talk — in 2020, it entered the Guinness Book of Records, which speaks for itself. Life jackets are provided at the entrance to the park. However, keep in mind that the slides go into the sea, so it wouldn’t hurt to know how to swim. This is a great option for adults and teenagers, but children under 6 are not allowed. Judging by the reviews, the place is best suited for a group outing, where you can have competitions and have fun. Visitors recommend wearing special shoes, as it is simply impossible to climb some of the obstacles without them.
Wild Wadi
Wild Wadi is one of the most popular water parks in the UAE. It is more modest in size and content compared to Atlantis, but this has its advantages. For example, all locations are close to each other, so you don’t have to walk long distances under the scorching sun or wait for an electric car to get to the next attraction or food court. There is also plenty of entertainment: there are extreme almost vertical descents, water roller coasters, a surfing pool, a “turbulent” and “lazy” river, etc. The queues here are not as long as at Atlantis, but they do exist. However, keep in mind that the park is really small, and even with waiting times, you can see all the attractions in 5-6 hours.
Atlantis Aquaventure Waterpark
Atlantis is the largest water park not only in Dubai or the UAE, but in the whole world. Many of its attractions are labeled “the most”: the longest high-speed slide, the largest area, unique attractions, and so on. The park has 105 incredible water slides. At the same time, it is nice that there are both extreme and completely safe and calm attractions. For example, the most popular attraction is Leap of Faith. It is a descent in a transparent tube that passes through a pool with sharks and stingrays. The park has a huge aquarium and dolphinarium where you can go diving and interact with sea creatures. The place is extremely popular, so keep in mind that it is always crowded. Plus, this kind of fun is quite expensive — the prices here are the highest among similar establishments.
