My boyfriend and I had heard so much about the Aquaventure Atlantis water park that we simply couldn’t miss it when we were planning our trip to Dubai. From reviews, we found out about a local company called Turistino, which offers much better prices for tickets and always has special offers on its website.
So we took advantage of this. We went to the website, made our selection (paid 275 AED per ticket for the water park + aquarium) and received them by email. We contacted their representative on WhatsApp and received lots of useful recommendations. Here are my tips for everyone:
1. Plan your visit to the water park strictly on a weekday (there are huge queues on Fridays and Saturdays, as these are weekends in the UAE).
2. Arrive at opening time (10:00) and grab a spot by the large pool in the middle of the water park.
3. Between 2:00 and 4:00 p.m., when everyone goes to lunch, there are far fewer people wanting to ride the slides.
4. Bring a towel. That’s about it.
We took the advice and had a great time. When we got there, the beauty and nature took our breath away. We managed to ride all the slides several times. The water and the grounds are clean. The pools and attractions are all very well organised! The Zoomerango slide was a real challenge for us, an extreme experience we will remember for a long time)). And the tube with the floor falling out was simply breathtaking.
The coolest water park in my life! After the water park closed, we went to the Lost Chambers aquarium. We were very impressed, we liked it even more than the one in Dubai Mall.
