Cost of admission and tips
Of course, before visiting the water park, it is important to know how much it will cost. There are several ways to purchase tickets. 1. When booking a ticket on the official website online, you will receive a QR code that allows you to quickly enter the park without queuing.
But it’s not that simple: you will need a foreign bank card to pay. 2. You can also find and pay for tickets through third-party services that accept bank cards. All these sites always add a commission, so you need to be careful and read carefully what is included in the price of the tickets you are purchasing. 3. You can purchase tickets through a guide or tour operator, and then you won’t have to worry about payment and transfer. In this case, there is a high probability of overpaying, and the transfer will most likely be shared, with stops at other hotels. 4. You can buy tickets on site at the ticket offices or self-service machines. Yes, you will have to wait in line, but there are many ticket offices that serve visitors fairly quickly.
It should also be noted that the basic price of the ‘Day Pass to the Water Park’ ticket includes only access to all 105 slides, attractions and entertainment, including the beach and Surf’s Up. All other entertainment, such as the dolphinarium, aquarium, shark diving, and more, must be paid for separately and preferably in advance.
The cost of visiting Aquaventure depends on several factors, including the age of the visitor, the day of the week, and the time of year. The basic ticket price is 350 AED for adults and children aged 3 to 7, and 300 AED for children under 3. You can then add additional services for an extra fee to make your holiday more comfortable. Below is a list of services that we chose for our visit to the water park and which came in very handy:
AquaXpress – fast access to all slides for 395 AED. Yes, it’s expensive, but thanks to it, we rode all the slides in just one day, some of them even several times. Without it, you will spend 80% of your time standing in line, and your holiday can turn from exciting to boring and unpleasant.
Locker – a personal locker in the men’s or women’s changing room for 60 AED. We booked one and safely left our belongings there.
Meal Deal Combo – a meal voucher valid at several restaurants in the water park, 75 AED per person. The cashier advised us to get it, as it made lunch cheaper than ordering at the restaurant. Each restaurant has several combo sets with a drink that you can choose with this voucher. I definitely recommend it.
Towel – if you don’t have your own beach towel, you can rent one for 35 AED. We only needed towels at the end of the day to shower before leaving the park; we didn’t think about them at all during the day.
Cost of additional services
Since the water park is huge, it is impossible to fully explore it in one day and enjoy even the attractions that are included in the basic ticket price. Therefore, I advise you to think carefully before purchasing additional entertainment, such as the dolphinarium or sea lion show, etc. If you really want to visit all the possible attractions and your budget allows, it is better to visit the water park in 2-3 visits to evenly distribute all the impressions and fully enjoy each attraction. And, by the way, there is a chance that after the first visit, you will get enough emotions and endorphins and end your visit there.
