The most vivid memory of our two-week holiday for the children was visiting the water park. We chose Aquaventure to visit the famous artificial island of Palm Jumeirah and take photos near the luxurious, castle-like Atlantis hotel.
After waiting in a long queue at the ticket office and buying expensive tickets, we first ran through the beautiful, well-kept grounds of the water park, past the sandy beach
to the bay with dolphins. We watched them for a while, but they were swimming far away, so we returned to the attractions.
The children watched the fish in the aquarium, and I liked the descent into the underwater kingdom with fish and sharks, but we had to wait in a huge queue and lost a lot of time, and time flies very quickly here! At the end of November, it gets dark early, so you need to arrive at the opening time in the morning when there are fewer queues.
I also liked floating on inner tubes down a lazy river, which is great for those who don’t like extreme slides. By the way, one of us scraped their leg on the slide in the tube, but we didn’t pay any attention to it, which was a mistake! The wound got infected and later became festering. Luckily, it happened on the penultimate day of our holiday, and we were able to treat it with antibiotics at home. A word of advice to everyone: be careful and treat even small scratches immediately so as not to spoil your holiday. Overall, we enjoyed the water park!
For small children, there is a good playground with rope slides and lifts, bridges with water spraying from them, and water cannons and guns that spray the children, who squeal with delight!
In one place, a barrel of water tips over, drenching everyone in its path. There are several good slides, small and large, which the children enjoyed sliding down with great pleasure. For the little ones, there is a shallow pool with single and double rings with seats (baby sit), where you can put your baby and push them around in the water.
The water park gave the children a whirlwind of fun and excitement!
