From Sunrise to Sunset: Our Full Day Adventure at Wild Wadi Dubai

We visited Wild Wadi in August (during the hottest part of the summer). But even the scorching sun didn’t stop us from spending the whole day at this water park (from opening at 11:00 a.m. until closing at 9:00 p.m.).

Be prepared to wait in line for the water attractions (from 1 minute to 20 minutes). There’s nowhere else to go — everyone wants to have fun.

You shouldn’t have any problems finding the water park; any taxi driver (metered fare) knows how to get there (it is located near the famous Jumeirah Beach Hotel (Wave) and Burj Al Arab (Sail) are nearby, and you can also get there by public transport (bus, metro), but you will have to walk a little from the stop.

A day at Wild Wadi Water Park is designed for all ages and tastes. Extreme sports enthusiasts and families with children will appreciate it.

Some of the slides are incredibly scary))) no matter how many times you go, it’s like the first time every time 🙂 You slide down so fast that it takes your breath away, and everything happens at such a height… wow (when I think back, I can’t even believe it’s real).

Ticket price: $55 – a bit expensive, but it’s worth it!

At the entrance, you are given a special waterproof electronic bracelet (which is also the key to your locker), where you can put your money (for expenses inside the water park). A very convenient system!

In fact, you are not allowed to bring food and drinks with you (but we wrapped water and sandwiches in a towel and our supplies went unnoticed).

What we took with us to the water park: swimsuits, thermal water, hair ties (it is better to put your hair in a braid or ponytail right away…

some of the slides are very fast, and your hair gets in your face, blocking your view), sunscreen, money, a towel, special shoes for water sports (they were a lifesaver, as the tiles get very hot in some places).

Soap and shampoo in the showers are free.

Towels can be rented for an additional fee (we didn’t buy any, we brought our own towels).

The staff are very friendly and helpful.

We managed to go on all the slides so many times during the day that by the evening we could hardly move our legs.

It’s no wonder that Wild Wadi is one of the 10 best water parks in the world. We want to go back again and again!!!!! Which is exactly what we’re planning to do in August.
